In the 1700's one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content preserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado's hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

Here's what beer drinkers are telling us about Avery IPA.

  • "I love your IPA more than any other microbrew in the world."
    Ken C. in Georgia
  • "I just tried an Avery IPA and YES, HOPS! This is what an IPA is suppose to be. I have tried many IPAs and yours is one of the best."

  • "I want to tell you how much I enjoy your IPA. It is perhaps my all-time favorite."

  • "I think your IPA is the best I have ever had. On occasion I will try another brewery's IPA and I always find myself saying "Avery's IPA is 10 times better." Nothing compares."
    Asher R.
  • "Until recently the best IPA was from a VT micro, but I am pleased to discover an even better one, the best I have yet encountered in your own IPA. Now everytime I visit my daughter in Ann Arbor, the car contains at least two cases of Avery IPA on my return home."
    Douglas R. in New York
  • "Your IPA is the best beer I ever had, and what a great label."
    Gary S.
