Elle was the original “Ellie," Adam Avery's best friend when he first started Avery Brewing Company back in 1993. She came to work with him every day and was a steadfast companion for all of his climbing adventures. 30+ years later, we still honor the best damn dog to ever pad across a brew house floor.

Ellie's Brown Ale has all the characteristics of its namesake: friendly, mellow, and a little nutty. A beautiful, deep russet brew, this beer highlights chocolate and brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts. The effect is a very smooth, well-balanced, and quaffable brown ale. 

Elle is missed, but she lives on in this beer as the loveable Lab on our label.
