We love to have fun with our guests every day in the taproom. Join us for 30 beers on tap, a dog-friendly patio, and a seasonally selected menu.

Special Cellar Tour and Exclusive Beer Tasting
October 12th at 6:00pm
Join us for a deep dive tour of our brewery and cellar, created especially for beer nerds. This tour will go in-depth about our brewing and production processes, and will conclude in our Barrel Aging Cellar for a guided tasting of some of our rare barrel-aged beers and taproom-exclusive releases. Guests will also get the chance to taste a beer directly from a barrel! Light snacks will be provided. Spots are limited so buy your tickets today.

Great American Beer Fest Kick-Off Party
Wednesday, October 9th, 5pm-8:30pm
Enjoy exclusive tappings of taproom-only beer releases, specialty flights, and a 90s pop and hip-hop dance party in the Beer Garden With DJ Red Tail Sound!

Beer History Series with Dr. David Piacenti
Join us for beer history classes all winter long! Each month has a unique theme and will feature a guided beer tasting. Tickets are $30 and the event will last about 2 hours. Additional beer and food will be available for purchase. 
Beer and Baseball: Connecting America's Two Favorite Pastimes
10/23 at 6:30pm, Tickets
This lecture will explore and uncover the deep connection between the game of baseball and drinking beer.  From kegs at third base, to the beer-drinking Babe, from the Milwaukee Brewers to Busch Stadium and Coors Field, from beer advertising and the Minor Leagues to team-focused “darling beers” and the craft brewing revolution at the ballpark, this lecture is all about the two great American pastimes—play ball and drink beer!
The Sociological History of Beer 
11/20 at 6:30pm, Tickets 
This course explores the human history of and continuing global significance of beer production and consumption.  A variety of social, anthropological, and historical theories are used to frame the emergence of beer as both a unique and universal human endeavor. This includes beer’s psychological, spiritual, religious, medicinal, cultural, economic, and political importance, as well as the unique role of females in ancient brewing history. 
Beer and the American Revolution 
12/18 at 6:30pm, Tickets
In this workshop we will explore the history of beer and the centrality of food and drink taxation as a precursor of the American Revolution.  We will also explore the functions of pubs as sites of political organization for the American Revolution.  The politics of food and drink, a focus on American political figures engaged in brewing, and contemporary symbols of freedom in beer advertising will be explored. 
African American Brewing History
1/28 at 6:30pm, Tickets
This workshop will explore the deep history of brewing in Africa, including techniques and ingredients.  From this foundation we will explore early colonial and slave brewing in the now United States. The post-Prohibition era, and modern transformation of marketing towards the African American population in the United States will be discussed alongside African American brewing pioneers and contemporary trend setters.  

Super Special Nerd Trivia! 
Once a month-ish at 6:00pm
Come by for our staff-hosted hyper-focused trivia nights! Limited reservations are available, email siobhan@averybrewing.com to secure a table. Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited, so arrive early. Free to play, 21 and up. Food and beer available for purchase. Prizes for the best-themed costume or outfit.
